Curriculum

Previous work experience in communications is not required for this program. Due to the ever-evolving nature of applied communications, this program is best suited for those who view communications as a life pursuit, with the intention of remaining current with the industry over time.

The program is offered in a flexible format that allows you to select either full- or part-time.

There are four core courses in the core M.A. in Communication curriculum. Following 12 hours of core requirements, you will take 18 more credit hours. You can choose a specialization in Strategic or Organizational Communication, both specializations, a combination of one specialization and electives or all electives.
